Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the ADHD assessment take?
The assessment takes place over several appointments. Testing itself usually spans a few hours across one or two sessions, and the written report typically follows within a few weeks depending on complexity.
Is this assessment specifically designed for women?
Yes. Women are frequently underdiagnosed with ADHD because symptoms can present differently than the textbook description. Our clinicians are trained to recognize how ADHD shows up in women — including inattentive presentations, emotional dysregulation, and coping patterns that can mask the diagnosis.
Do you offer virtual or in-person appointments?
Both. You can choose the format that works best for you — we offer in-person sessions at our Toronto-area locations and secure virtual appointments across Ontario.
Will I receive a formal diagnosis?
If you meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD, the report will include a formal diagnosis along with recommendations for next steps — whether that's medication, therapy, coaching, or workplace and school accommodations.
What happens after the assessment?
You'll receive a full written report and a feedback session to discuss the results in plain language. Many clients share the report with their family doctor, employer, or school to access supports and accommodations.
