Insurance
Q: Are your fees covered by insurance?
A: Our counselling services are covered by most or all extended health plans that cover Registered Social Work. Please check with your insurance company with respect to your coverage.
Therapy Process
Q: How long does a typical therapy session last?
A: Sessions are typically 50 minutes. The frequency and duration of therapy is up to you, and is based on your individual needs and goals.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: The number of sessions varies depending on individual circumstances. Some issues can be resolved in one or two sessions and others require more time. During your initial consultation, you and your therapist may discuss your goals and create a personalized treatment plan, including an estimate of the duration.

Q: Does The Counselling Centre provide counseling near me?
A: The Counselling Centre is conveniently located in Toronto and Thornhill, and our therapists also provide sessions online.
Q: Do you offer remote therapy options?
A: Yes, we offer therapy securely over Zoom for clients who prefer remote sessions.
